American pop artist Ariana Grande is sooooo hot, hot, hot right now.
With her hit ‘Problem’ exploding at over 183 million views and counting, it seems everyone wants a piece of her.
But since touching down in the Land Down Under, the 21-year-old has been received with mixed reports.
Grande performed on Australian X factor on Monday night. She followed an act by Hillary Duff, who hadn’t performed in the country for seven years (did you know her last album was released in 2005??! It’s been that long???!!).
But earlier that day Fairfax reports Grande cancelled a photo shoot because she ‘didn’t like the photos’ and wanted to change her outfit.
And rival news organisation News Limited reported the media were given a specific list of no no’s when asking Grande questions.
In one article, News Limited compared her to the likes of Mariah Carey and Madonna. Ouch.
Now, I wouldn’t go so far to call myself a ‘fan’ or a ‘hater’ of Grande’s but I won’t lie, her music is fun to listen to.
And so what if she likes to work her best camera angle?! I’m sure you would do just the same if you knew your face was going to be plastered all over the media for the world to see.
So, what do you think?
Are the critics being too harsh?
Maybe Ariana Grande is ‘one less problem’ after all.
