Vienna (Wien), Austria

Even though it was a chilly two degrees when I visited Austria’s capital, I quickly fell in love with this gorgeous old city. Here are a few reasons why…

Vienna is chocolate heaven. What other city has a chocolate drink and a chocolate cake named after it?! Just mention ‘chocolate’ and you’re speaking my language. So as you can imagine, my trip to Vienna wasn’t complete without a Vienna hot chocolate AND a Vienna chocolate cake in a fancy hotel. This leads me to my first European holiday rule: one can NEVER have too much chocolate!

Up next: Munich! The land of meat. Seriously… it’s no place for vegetarians!
